Set One : How do I get started?

The first step is to get in touch. Reach out and let me know how I can help you. You can do this by using the contact form or you can book an initial free chat with me, by pressing the online chat button and booking an appointment.

Step Two: Initial Chat

I’ll open a dialogue to chat with you about how I can help you and to see if we are a good fit.
We can discuss package options and whether you prefer online consultations or would like to visit me in my clinic.

Step Three: Getting Started 

I send you a Toss the Scales manual- 9 steps to intuitive eating and you will complete the questionnaire and the initial food diary.

Step Four: Initial Consult 

This will be in person or via video call. Here will will set some goals and identify the habits that we will be targeting. We will also discuss the program outline and the topics we will be covering each week.

Step Five: Consultations

Each week or fortnight we will meet in person or via video call to discuss the weekly topic and to assess and reset your nutritional habits. I will support  you to work through any obstacles you encounter along the way and to answer all your questions. We always discuss what worked and what did not work since we last met. We identify easy things to focus on that will have the greatest positive impact for you. You will also have weekly tasks to complete based on the topics we discuss to support you on your journey.

Step Six: Be kind to yourself

Behaviour  change takes time and patience. For most of my clients, to harness new health behaviours takes about six months. We do monitor changes in mindset and behaviours by using tools at the beginning , mid and end of the nutrition program so that you can identify your progress.
